Theoretical Orientation



My approach to therapy is eclectic which means I use a number of different therapeutic modalities that I have extensive training in to assist each individual, couple or family I work with in attaining the specific outcomes they have in their pursuit of health and happiness. I usually start with a client centered approach which is described in more detail below in the initial assessment of the individual, couple or family . After we have identified the areas of concern and outcomes we desire I predominantly use a cognitive behavioral approach in developing the strategic plan of action we will follow to attain our goals. In this process any number of other therapeutic approaches may be utilized to assist us in creating the desired outcome in the shortest period of time and with the least amount of effort. Our success is based on the working relationship we develop and our mutual dedicated efforts to attain our goals.
