CALIFORNIA STATE, COURT & PROBATION APPROVED PROGRAMS

Center for Anger Management & Domestic Violence Treatment

Offers Individual and educationally oriented group treatment to individuals who have experienced problems in their life or relationships due to poor anger management skills or have been charged or convicted of an anger related offense. Customized treatment programs can be developed to meet any individual’s needs. If court or probation ordered, standard programs typically extend for the duration of probation, if applicable, or for a minimum of ninety days, six months, one year or two years in length. Individualized Adult, Adolescent and Child programs are developed based on individual needs and desired length of treatment.

Center for Alcohol & Drug Abuse Treatment

Offers Individual and educationally oriented group treatment to individuals who have an alcohol and/or drug abuse problem. Attendance of AA, NA or other support groups, working the 12 steps and attaining a sponsor are typically included in any comprehensive treatment program developed. Couple and Family Therapy is available if needed. Program lengths may vary depending on the severity of the problem or determined by the court system if referred by the courts or probation Dept. However, they are ninety days, six months, one year or two years in length or extend for the duration of probation, if applicable. Individualized programs can also be developed based on individual needs. These programs can have a medical management component and provide ongoing intermittent alcohol and drug screening, if required or necessary. Monthly progress reports are also available, upon request. Family counseling can also be provided, if needed or desired. Male & Female Groups are available.

Center for Parenting Education & Training

Offers educationally oriented individual, couple and group sessions as well as skill building modules and training that teach parents basic parenting skills and strategies for dealing with stressful, acting out and other problematic situations they may experience. There are three different levels of parenting education and training available: Parents of children 1-6 yrs of age; parents of children 6 -12 yrs of age and parents of children 12 -21 years of age. Individual and Family therapy is also available as part of any treatment program developed.

Center for Sexual Health / Sex Offender Treatment Program

Offers Individual and educationally oriented group treatment to individuals who have been charged or convicted of a first time sex offense or has symptoms of a sexual addiction. Standard programs typically extend for the duration of probation, if applicable, or can be six months, one year or two years in length if self initiated. Individualized programs are also developed based on individual needs. Male and female groups are available. Adolescent programs are also available.

Center for Treatment of Fire Setters

Offers Individual and educationally oriented group treatment for children or adolescents who have exhibited fire setting behaviors. Length of treatment programs may vary depending on the severity of the problem and whether self initiated or referred by the court system. Typically Treatment programs are ninety days, six months, one year or two years in length depending on the needs of the individual being treated. Individual and family therapy are usually part of any treatment program developed.

Center for Treatment of Compulsive Gambling

Offers Individual and educationally oriented group treatment to individuals who have a compulsive gambling problem. Programs lengths may vary depending on the severity of the problem or determined by the court system if referred by the courts or probation Dept. However, typical treatment programs are ninety days, six months, one year or two years in length or extend for the duration of probation, if applicable. Attendance of Gamblers Anonymous meetings, working the 12 steps and attaining a sponsor are typically included in any comprehensive treatment program developed. Couple and Family Therapy is available if needed.
